8 October is a day off from auditions. We invite you to take part in accompanying events! You can see the exhibition ‘Romantic Life. Chopin, Scheffer, Delacroix, Sand’ at the Fryderyk Chopin Museum and ‘A Theatre Well-Buttoned Up’ at the Birthplace of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola, and visit the exhibition of photographs by Wojciech Grzędziński from the four previous Chopin Competitions, which will be open until 22 October.

The auditions for the second stage of the 19th Chopin Competition will take place on 9-12 October 2025, every day in the morning and evening sessions:
Morning session: starting at 10:00 a.m. CEST, intermission: 12:00-12:30 p.m.
Evening session: starting at 5:00 p.m. CEST, intermission: 7:00-7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the 19th Chopin Competition are sold out, but it will be possible to purchase one-entry passes (last-minute standing tickets). They will be sold at the Warsaw Philharmonic box office 10 minutes before the start of the auditions if there are still seats available in the auditorium.
These admission tickets are unnumbered. To take their seats, ticket holders must wait until the last, third gong. It is possible to enter or leave the hall during the session, but only between performances by successive pianists, never during them.
Children who are at least 8 years of age can sit in the audience of the 19th Chopin Competition.

Θα μπορούσε να γινει μεγάλη κουβέντα για τον καταιγισμό Ασιατικών ταλέντων, το γιατι είναι τόσοι πολλοί και γιατι οι Ιταλοί, Γάλλοι, Γερμανοί κτλ είναι σχεδόν άφαντοι στους τελευταίους διαγωνισμούς αλλα δεν ξέρω αν υπάρχουν άλλοι εδώ γύρω που παρακολουθούν την κατάσταση.

Επίσης έχουν ενδιαφέρον οι τσακωμοι μεταξύ ακροατών στο διαδίκτυο για το ποιος έπρεπε να περάσει στην επόμενη φάση και ποιος οχι...

Με τι πιάνο παίζουν αυτοί που προκρίθηκαν στην τρίτη φάση. Ο διαγωνισμός παρέχει 5 μάρκες πιανου και ξεχωριστούς χορδιστες για την καθεμία.

Παρακολουθώ εγώ, αλλά δεν έχω παρακολουθήσει σε βάθος. Μου έκανε κι εμένα εντύπωση η Ασιατική λαίλαπα, αλλά κρίνοντας από τα στερεότυπα που έχουμε σχετικά με την πίεση που ασκούν στα παιδιά τους σε σχέση με την εξέλιξή τους ίσως δεν είναι περίεργο.

Εχουν προσλαβει Ρωσσους και γενικοτερα ανατολικομπλοκιτες καθηγητες πιανου, οποτε μαθαινουν το βιρτουοζικο μερος της μουσικης οπως λιγοι στην Ιταλια και την Γαλλια. Πολλα απο αυτα τα παιδια απο Ιαπωνια, Κορεα, Κινα μετακομοιζουν Ρωσσια ή Πολωνια για χρονια, απο μικρη ηλικια, για να εντρυφήσουν στην Ευρωπαικη κουλτουρα και στυλ. Το αποτελεσμα ειναι πως το 90% των συμμετοχων ειναι απο την Ασια ή με ασιατικο επιθετο (κάτοικοι Αμερικης κτλ)

Ο διαγωνισμος ειχε τεραστια απηχηση, τα ονοματα των νικητων τα ξερουμε ολοι. Απο τον Lev Oborin το 1927, Malcuzynski 3ος το 49, Harasiewicz (Philips, απο τις πολυ καλες κασετίνες σε βινυλιο) 1ος με Askenazy 2ο το 1955, Polini το 1960 και Martha Argerich το 1965. Τι να λεμε τωρα, οποιος πηγε καλα στον διαγωνισμο εκανε τεραστια καριερα, για αυτο και τον παρακολουθω χρονια τωρα. Αλλα τα πραγματα εχουν αλλαξει, οι ευρωπαιοι και αμερικανοι ακροατες δεν ταυτίζονται και τοσο με τα ασιατικα ονοματα.

Το 1985 νικητης ηταν ενας απο τους αγαπημενους μου ρομαντικο-λυρικους πιανιστες, ο Stanislav Bunin (δισκους σε Melodiya). Λιγες εκδοσεις πιο πισω ο Zimmerman και η Uchida, τριτος ειχε ερθει και ο Trifonov. Γενικα αν καποιος ακουει κλασσικη και ειδικα ρομαντικο πιανο ο διαγωνισμος εχει τεραστιο αντίκτυπο.
